About The D-1 Program

The D-1 Program

Tryouts in March are analyzed by all coaches.

Teams will be decided based on each individuals skills, attitude, work ethic, basketball IQ, and team positions needs.

The season for D-1 for grades 4th-8th are scheduled from April 1st to the first week of June. (Roughly 2 months).

During these 2 months you will play at least 7 tournaments (about 28 games), some teams pay extra to go longer.

In these 2 1/2 months you will be provided practice twice a week in which you will be getting direct skill training from the best Coaches in the Area led by former D-1 and Euro Pro Jared Stohl.

Practices are designed to replicate a college level atmosphere where a lot of learning is through playing and coaches on the fly teaching.

We teach the same concepts that are taught the highest levels of College Hoops.

D-1 is for players looking to find out what it takes to get to the next level. We try to keep our teams smaller to allow optimal playing time for all our participants however playing time is not guaranteed, it is earned!

All coaches are trained by Jared Stohl who played 4 years under Coach Eric Reveno who is currently assistant coach at Georgia Tech and was also head assistant for Stanford during their final 4 run.

Jared led the nation in 3pt percentage in 2010 and was currently ranked #11 in the last century in between JJ. Reddick and Stephen Curry.

As director of D-1 Elite Jared's goal is to help aspiring kids learn what it takes to reach their dreams of playing college basketball.
